Hello!

Hello all,
Although I am very computer savy... I haven't gone blog crazy but maybe its about time!  For all of you who know me, I am Jessica of Jessica Selig Designs!
Life has been a crazy road of confusion but the one thing that I am not confused about is my business!  When I graduated college, I did some odd end graphic design work.  I then went back to school to Antonelli School of Art.  I really want to find about more about corporate graphic design.   After I graduated from Antonelli, I got a few jobs learning the corporate world.  What I learned was the corporate graphic design world wasn't for me.  So I dabbed back into the event production industry, as I have always loved it.  While going to school at Antonelli, I worked at a studio called Lafayette Hill Studios where I did post production of weddings and events. I enjoyed what I did there but I wanted more! So along the way,  I worked for several prestigious photographers in and around Philly.  My favorite photographer was Phil Kramer.  It was after working with him, that I realized it was time to do this on my own!  The end result: Jessica Selig Designs!  Throughout the years, I fell in love with wedding album design.  I felt that my love for these couples most special moments...that I could express their love in an album that would last for generations upon generation.  An album that can not be described as anything but art.
Album design is not a scrapbook.  Yes it is a storybook of the events of the day, but its sooo much more! Its (hopefully) your one and only day.  The photographer of each event captures each unnoticed moment... The moment when your new husband kisses your shoulder, thinking no one noticed or the first moment you became husband and wife.  The photographers job is to catch these important and precious moments.  My job, my love of this... is that I get to express it.  All of these amazing and perfect moments, I get to magically lay them out to truly tell the story of your most perfect day.
Why do I feel so close to my work... Yes I am sort of still in the honeymoon phase.  I have been married for a little over a year- June 30, 2007.  And my day was truly the most perfect day. You can check out my album at www.jessicaseligdesigns.com/JessDan
Ok so that is all for now!  Have a great day!
